About Us
Smith and Allan is a family run business founded in 1925 and in recent years has undergone a large investment and expansion programme. Throughout our history we have blended oils to the highest standards and we are now Teessides largest independent oil blenders, a point borne out by the approval of our products by customers such as Cummins Engines, TKA Tallent Chassis, Electrolux and Brithish Gas Transco, who each subjected our lubricants to their own independant testing procedures, to further this point we are also the manufacturer and supplier of oil to Flymo UK.


In Addition we are stockists of Shell Lubricants and recently achieved top ten status in the Shell League of industrial distributors. This affords us unrivalled access to an impressive technical backup system to answer queries or solve any problems our customers may face in the day to day running of their business.

We offer a comprehensive stock control and management facility for those customers who require it and this service has proved invaluable to businesss such as Cummins, where for the past 3 years we have won their covered supplier of the year award and more recently to Vickers Michell of Newcastle where we are now their sole paint supplier.
