Amerlock 400 GFA
High Solids Glassflake Epoxy Coating
As a maintenance or new construction coating Amerlock 400GFA protects both steel and concrete structures in severe environments, including marine structures, petroleum processing and storage facilities and other heavy industrial facilities. On offshore platforms, Amerlock 400GFA is suitable for use in splash and tidal zones, under-deck areas and helidecks as well as sub-sea facilities.

High Solids Epoxy Coating
Amerlock 400C is used as a high performance maintenance coating with excellent adhesion to a wide range of existing coatings. Amerlock 400C can be applied to mechanically cleaned surfaces. Adhesion is excellent to a wide variety of substrates, including concrete, aluminium and galvanizing. Amerlock 400C has excellent application characteristics. It can be applied by conventional and airless spray equipment, brush or roller. For immersion service in water, abrasive blasting to Sa 2½ is required.
Amerlock 400 AL/AL WN
High Solids Epoxy Coating
Amerlock 400AL is most often used in those areas where blasting is impractical or impossible. Uses include steel structures in industrial facilities, bridges, tanks, marine weathering, oil tanks, piping, roofs, water towers and other exposures subject to high humidity and moisture. Amerlock 400AL has good resistance to splash/spillage and fumes of acids, alkalies. solvents and fresh and salt water. Amerlock 400AL can be applied over damp substrates. For immersion in potable and seawater, abrasive blasting to Sa 2½ is required. For cold climates a special wintergrade version, Amerlock 400AL WN is available for use in temperature between 0- 20°C (32-68ºF)

Fast Drying High Solids Epoxy Coating
Amerlock 2C is a high solids epoxy coating used for maintenance of steel and concrete surfaces. Amerlock 2C may be applied directly to bare steel and can also be applied to most types of primers or existing coating systems. Amerlock ‘s low solvent level reduces the risk of solvent entrapment at the substrate-coating interface.. However, for enhanced UV resistance it may be topcoated with a wide range of different topcoats. Contact your PPG representative for specific recommendations.
